Reselling branded products from other countries?

I'm new to this so please excuse if this sounds ridiculous. I've found an amazing product that can profit heavily if I were to buy it from its original country in bulk and sell online via stores like Amazon. The question really is - is this even legal?If so, would it be wise to replace the labels with my own, or should I just sell the product exactly how I receive it?
