Looking and amazon making a historical push to the top got me thinking of what some of the biggest companies in history were at their peak. Any sure if this is the correct sub for this but im not sure where to ask. The internet provides very contradictory answers when asked about this stuff so it left me slighty confused. This is the adjusted for inflation that ive found so far in the past 50-60 years.1) IBM - 1967 - 1.3T2) Apple - July 2018 - 963.17B3)Microsoft - December 1999 - 926.65B4)Amazon - July 2018 - 909B5) Alphabet - July 2018 - 894.29B6) GE - August 2000 - 866.11mI don't count these 2 since they are not public or rely on natural resourcesSaudi Aramco - 4.1B (2010)PetroChina - 1.145B (2007)I also heard standard oil from the 1910s was well over 1 trillion when adjusted for inflation? anyone have accurate info and know what's true and what's not. via /r/business https://ift.tt/2AkWSKp
