Hey people,So I'm a resident in the US, but a Canadian Citizen who does not yet have my US Green card or anything. Do any Canadians have experience in registering a small business back home while living abroad? What are the tax implications like? I'm looking to start small (under $3000 annual income, I would expect) and pending success/time grow the business.Has anyone done this? There are multiple options for online businesses, my goal is to explore those, but I'm not sure if it makes sense to do this in Canada. I'm hoping to capitalize on business expense write-offs for annual meetings with my business partner in Canada, but am I opening myself up to pay more in tax than would make it worthwhile? Any constructive thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks! via /r/business https://ift.tt/2OeQxSp
