I found out recently that a friend of mine works for a union and was told that many of them fly either first or business class. This angers me because union employees are no different than public employees. Union wages are paid from union dues and government employees are paid from taxes.IMO, the whole fiasco with Tom Price is is no different than many high ranking government or union employees that feel they "deserve" high-priced hotel rooms or the best seats on flights. There is one or more people like him in nearly every company. If it's a private company, I think the costs are somewhat justified because company profits go towards these "perks." and they contribute to the bottom line. I'm a small business owner with only two employees but wonder how I would handle it if I had to send one of them on business. But when it comes to taxpayer money or dues from unionized employees, these funds should be better managed and not spent foolishly. If they want to fly first class or business class, they should pay the difference out of pocket. via /r/business http://ift.tt/2xIF7SS
