I had received a call last week from Sekure Merchant Solutions, which quite frankly seemed like a scam or at the very least a very pushy and poorly ran company. After taking a peak at their Better Business Bureau page over the weekend, I thought their positive reviews looked odd, especially for a company that seems to make its money off of cold calls with abrasive tactics. The dates of the reviews in particular seem fishy, with 47 positive reviews coming from 3/1/16-3/18/16 followed by only two positive reviews from 3/19/16-6/12/16, 13 positive reviews on 1/26/17 alone after December had zero, and 20 positive reviews in April 2017 (including this one with a head scratching 32 people who found it helpful?) followed by 2 positive reviews from May-October 2. It looks like the suspicious positive reviews are kicking back up this month, with 17 from October 3 to present day. A lot of the wordage seems like massive hyperbole that someone paid to write glowing reviews would use, and you'll notice a pattern of the same few employees get praised ad nauseam for their work.Does anyone else think this seems suspicious, and should I bring up my concerns to the BBB? I would like to think the BBB is the one place I could get honest objective reviews of potential business partners but this is concerning to me. I was hoping to email them some screen grabs of reviews and dates that are suspicious but can't find a contact email. Appreciate any input or advice anyone can offer. via /r/business http://ift.tt/2zkrudN
