Vanlife and the media business. Looking for input

I recently got into an argument about networking and van life. The issue was in relation to the social aspect of living in a van. The topic raised is how do you meet new people and clients (photo/video work) whilst living in a van. I personally think you do this the same way you do with anything else, go out and socialize. Got to events, etc.The goal is to build a portfolio whilst also finding work along the way. This includes getting into publications with photo and written content, finding people who need video work, and all around digital content creation.Do people look down at those who live in vans- that they’re homeless? Are there any issues you find that not staying in the same place has caused some sort of disconnect or trouble finding work in a more entrepreneurial sense? How would you personally feel about working with someone who lives in a van. Please someone list the cons, besides bathing and not having a fixed address (PO Boxes don’t count), of living the van life and pursuing a career in video and photo. Or just any professional obstacles one may face.I would assume the upside to unlimited mobility are that you can be present at any event you want to cover and not worry about housing/accommodation costs, shitty landlords, etc. via /r/business http://ift.tt/2lufQa4
