/r/Connecticut recently posted a news article from the Hartford Courant describing mostly the metrics behind the Hartford Yard Goats business success. Unlike what's typical for major league teams, whose game attendance is driven largely by their win/loss record, this minor league is extremely successful despite its less-than-stellar win-loss record. The OP is [here](https://ift.tt/2oy0QXp), and the article is [here](https://ift.tt/2NM7TGQ). What I think this community will find interesting is a buried comment within that post explaining the strategies the Yard Goats' marketing team used to achieve their success. The link to that comment by /u/DicNavis is [here](https://ift.tt/2NJI1f7) and a follow-up [here](https://ift.tt/2NHrAje). This info is sadly missing from the Courant article. via /r/business https://ift.tt/2Nh1fvD
