Invest excess business cash?

I own an LLC that I use for occasional consulting projects. When projects get paid I keep some cash to pay for taxes and minor expenses. The business has now accumulated about $10k sitting in a business checking account.I’d like to invest excess cash in something like a CD, Money Market or other kind of account (as opposed to investing IN the business, like spending on marketing or buying new laptops).What are the different ways a business can invest excess cash? via /r/business https://ift.tt/2MLwQWR
