Examples of companies losing public trust & How did they overcome/regain it?

Hello, I am looking for some examples of companies who were involved in PR scandals and lost public trust but were able to eventually regain it. There are a lot of examples of companies losing public trust but there are less so for companies that have regained it. As such, I'm looking for more examples as I am primarily concerned with strategies the companies took in response to negative PR. All help is appreciated, thank you. via /r/business https://ift.tt/2KmPGOS

A Simple Process To Keep Your Business System Efficient

Running a business requires a solid plan, and when I say plan, that means having a system that helps you perform tasks efficiently. A business system, when established and executed properly, is the saving grace of every business of all shapes and sizes. But how can you determine that the systems you have in place are still working efficiently and helping you achieve your goals in the quickest and smartest way possible. An article I have come across earlier talks about how you can audit your business system in order to determine their current efficiency. Here is a summary of that article:Record your system and the individual steps you take to accomplish each task. Recording helps you make sure or the person performing the task that no necessary steps were forgotten or left unperformed. Most of the time, non-documentation contributes greatly when it comes to the inconsistency or substandard quality of an output. As you are going through your system, evaluate each step on whether or not they are the most efficient way. Ask yourself, can this section still be improved? What tool(s) can I use to help hasten this particular step? Asking these questions help make sure that your system stays efficient as much as possible.Find if there's a particular step within your system that you are not doing anymore. Assess whether not performing this step is the result of just being tired or lazy or it has no effect on your system anymore. Check also if there was some kind of internal shift that has rendered this particular section useless.Perform system updates regularly in order to make sure you are using the current best practices. Tools also shift from time to time which makes the newer tools more valuable and offers a cutting-edge advantage compared to the one you are using right now.Schedule your update in your calendar. Having a set date for the system update keeps you from forgetting this valuable task itself. via /r/business https://ift.tt/2rfpVHR
